Baby Merch!!!

IS SOMEONE PREGNANT?!

Probably someone somewhere.

WHAT THEN?!

OTL would like to welcome baby Trey into the world. Our dear friends Dani and Andrew Dugan gave birth to a beautiful baby boy, inspiring our team to go to work on some cute baby swag.

One of our OTL co-founders met Dani and Andrew while he and his team filmed their wedding

in Lake Como, Italy through his company, Film House Weddings.

They have since invested time into our OTL team, flying out for visits and enjoying acai bowls with us.

Congrats Dani, Andrew and baby Trey!

Photos of baby swag, coming soon!

What’s Happening In Social Media

Microsoft and Walmart are bonding over TikTok

EXPLAIN

Earlier this month , Trump announced that TikTok would have until September 15th to be sold to an American company or be banned due security concerns with it’s Chinese owner ByteDance.

Microsoft stepped in and said, we’ll do it.

Now, Walmart is joining with Microsoft in a bid to buy the company. There’s been no comment as to how the two companies will share ownership if the bid goes through.

WHO ARE THEY BIDDING AGAINST?

Oracle. Maybe.

Last week, it was reported that the software company Oracle, was possibly in talks to purchase TikTok’s U.S operations.

I GET A SOFTWARE COMPANY, BUT WHY WALMART?

Ownership in TikTok would allow Walmart to take advantage of the platforms e-commerce and advertising markets.

Good to note that both Walmart and Microsoft’s biggest competitor is Amazon (each for different reasons) - Taking on TikTok would give them new Markets and vantage points.

So to speak.

Something To Pay Attention To

Influencer Marketing

WHAT’S INFLUENCER MARKETING?

Influencer marketing is using an online ‘celebrity’ or influencer who possesses a large following to help campaign, push and market your brand and/or products.

You can read more about it here.

WHY SHOULD I PAY ATTENTION?

If you’re a business owner or in the business of selling products, you may want to consider investing into influencer marketing.

If you’re neither of those, you may want to consider an online presence in the direction of becoming an influencer ;).

According to research done by Forrester, even in the rungs of a pandemic, influencer marketing has continued to be a successful and positive investment for companies and brands, only seeing a slight

decrease around March of 2020, when more and more shutdowns began due to coronavirus.

Since production and other forms of broader advertising have slowed and even stopped since the onset of coronavirus, influencer marketing has proved a great avenue for businesses and brands to find more personalized, creative ways to reach consumers in their homes.
